My Ideal Client

Have you been in and out of 12-step recovery rooms? Tired of shame spirals and struggling with not being able to "figure it out"? Maybe you have found new spaces of hope, yet you continue to feel overwhelmed with fear and uncertainty? I get it. Despite our desires, there are often no clear cut paths or answers. If you're looking for support as you navigate the murky waters of not knowing what is next, accompanied by a clear image of where you don't want to be, I think we will be a good fit.

What I Specialize In

With 20+ years in the field of social work, Erin specializes in working with folks impacted by substance use and intergenerational trauma. Erin is well-versed in the subculture of 12-step programs, and takes a holistic, integrative, and harm reduction approach to recovery. It is her genuine hope that each person she meets will recognize and believe in their intrinsic potential for healing while pursuing the paradoxical journey of self-actualization and intentionally confronting obstructions with gentleness, curiosity, and grace along the way. Erin encourages flexibility and adaptability using various evidence-based, cognitive, behavioral, and somatic therapeutic interventions. You deserve support while navigating the complexities and nuances of long-term recovery, as well as the intricacies of what may emerge along the way.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I became a social worker because social workers were there for me when it felt like no one else was. I became a drug and alcohol counselor because I escaped the opioid crisis and know firsthand the relationship between substance abuse and trauma. I became a psilocybin facilitator because I believe in the power of this medicine to aid in somatic release and cognitive restructuring. Psilocybin supports insight into parts of us that otherwise remain hidden, to aid in the journey towards self-compassion, acceptance, and inner balance. We are all parts of the communities we belong to and the systems we engage with. When one part of a system shifts, the entire system is impacted. Let's start with you.
