My Ideal Client

Your life is complex and involves the convergence of multiple conditions, both internal and external to your sense of self. A lot of what you need to know you already know. Becoming between us articulates latent potentials, helping you take conscious actions toward what you want to bring into being.

My Approach to Helping

Therapy with me is an open process of exploration that is founded on techniques and theories drawn from interpersonal and relational psychodynamic, existential, and contextual behaviorist traditions. We will focus on elucidating underlying patterns that relate to the problems you are seeking to address. Working relationally means that we can make use of what manifests here and now between us to heighten awareness of those patterns as they are unfolding in the session itself. As you become more aware, your capacity to make decisions that are more consciously informed expands. The direction of your life is up to you. I am a generalist, seeking to work with your unique and ever-changing whole situation rather than limiting my focus to any category that may be serving to define some of your behaviors or experiences. I have backgrounds in the fine arts and meditation practices and have traveled extensively. I completed my studies in Counseling Psychology and Psychotherapy in Greece.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in kindness. I believe that any self exists always and only in relation and that we are not inherently isolated or separate from one another. I believe that our openness to a changing relational field makes our conscious participation in the direction of our lives possible.
