My Ideal Client

As a clinical counselor, I offer a safe, empathetic space where children, individuals, and families are heard, valued, and encouraged. I walk alongside clients, as a consistent and compassionate ally, as they grow through life’s difficulties and move toward strength and renewal.

My Approach to Helping

In life, we all encounter broken places — moments of disruption, pain, or transition that can leave us feeling unsteady or overwhelmed. Each challenge requires its own path toward healing. I believe that while we may navigate some of these experiences on our own, we often find deeper growth and clarity when we reach beyond ourselves for support. Depending on the needs of the client, I draw from restoration therapy, the Gottman method, the Townsend model, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends, walking my golden retriever, playing with my grandchildren, directing a senior residence choir, teaching and playing the piano, and playing in a marimba band.
