My Approach to Helping

My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in anti-oppressive and decolonizing frameworks. I believe healing extends beyond a “neck-up” approach. Trauma lives not only in our thoughts and emotions, but also in our bodies, nervous systems, relationships, and sense of safety and belonging. I bring a sense of forensic curiosity to therapy. I want to understand not only what is happening within you, but what has happened around you and how those experiences have shaped who you have become. Together, we can ask the questions that cut to the core: What happened? What did you learn from it? What are you still carrying? What parts of your story are truly yours?
