My Ideal Client

Being human is complicated. You might feel stuck repeating painful patterns, weighed down by old wounds, or overwhelmed by anxiety about the future. You want to break free, heal from past experiences, and experience genuine peace of mind. You’re looking for a therapist who offers compassion, trust, respect, and real tools for change. You want to feel safe being your authentic self. Together, we will explore your unique story, uncover strengths, nurture resilience, and build the life you deserve.

My Approach to Helping

Therapy can help you reconnect with hope, purpose, and your true self. Finding a therapist who can create a safe, non-judgmental, and constructive environment built on mutual trust and respect is critical to the success of the therapeutic process. We will work in collaboration to set attainable and meaningful goals for therapy, and I’ll tailor my practice to work with your style and needs. I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and I integrate these tools with elements of narrative and solution-focused therapy modalities. I also incorporate the science of neurobiology into my work with clients because many people find it helpful to better understand how the brain works.

More About the People I Treat

My point of view as a therapist is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and social justice-oriented. I warmly welcome clients from all walks of life and particularly enjoy working with people with diverse life experiences, including the LGBTQ+ community, people living with ADHD or autism, and people of color. My role is to be your helper, ally, and guide in your travels as you work through the past and move toward a healthier, brighter future.
