My specialty is working with Talented & Gifted Children & Adults. I am an expert in guiding families in school and social/emotional development.

My Background and Approach

Through Somatic therapy, I am skilled at: Assisting clients in identifying and expressing the sensations they are experiencing, Helping individuals reframe current or past negative experiences, Increasing and Improve confidence, resilience and hope, Helping clients achieve a greater awareness of body and mind, and reducing physical tension and stress.

More About the People We Treat

Candice's approach is grounded in an integrative perspective, which means she draws from multiple modalities and techniques to tailor her approach to each client's unique needs. One aspect of this approach involves teaching clients tools to regulate their nervous system, such as deep breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, and mindfulness practices. By learning to regulate their nervous system, clients can experience a sense of calm and better manage their emotional responses. Over time, clients will discover their own inner balance and develop lifelong resiliency. I help children: Express feelings in safe & effective ways Cooperate with rules and limits Be adaptable and flexible Feel confident to work through challenges Form positive relationships with peers Function well in group settings (i.e., childcare or school)
