My Ideal Client

I work with adults and teens who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, or major life transitions. Many of my clients are high functioning on the outside but feel anxious, stuck, exhausted, or disconnected inside. I especially enjoy supporting people who want to better understand their patterns, heal from difficult experiences, improve emotional regulation, and feel more confident and grounded in their everyday lives.

My Background and Approach

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and EMDR-certified therapist with experience supporting adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, grief, burnout, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy working with active-duty military members, veterans, military families, helping professionals, and individuals working in demanding corporate environments. My therapeutic style is collaborative and tends to incorporate sincerity, humor, and honest feedback. With a warm and empathetic approach, I strive to create a nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I believe that the success of a client begins with building a strong, therapeutic relationship. My warm, invitational, approach along with life experience and training aims to build this foundational relationship with each client I work with.

My Values as a Therapist

I believe therapy works best when you can bring your whole self into the room without feeling judged, analyzed, or expected to have everything figured out. I value authenticity, compassion, humor, curiosity, and creating an inclusive space where people of all backgrounds and identities feel respected and welcome for who they are that day. I am especially passionate about supporting people who spend much of their lives caring for, serving, or leading others—including military members and veterans, helping professionals, and those working in demanding corporate environments. I became a therapist because I believe our experiences can shape us without having to define us. Life can be incredibly difficult to navigate in the seasons of our lives, and I truly believe no one should ever have to walk through that alone. My goal is to help clients understand themselves more deeply, heal from what they have carried, and build lives that feel more grounded, connected, and authentic.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Anxiety External link

I support adults experiencing anxiety, chronic worry, overthinking, panic, perfectionism, and feeling constantly on edge. Together, we work to understand the physiologic and mental patterns driving anxiety, build practical coping and emotional regulation skills, and develop a greater sense of confidence and control. My approach helps clients feel more grounded, present, and able to navigate everyday stress without anxiety taking over.

  • Anger Management External link

I support adults who struggle with anger, irritability, emotional reactivity, or feeling easily overwhelmed. Together, we explore the triggers and underlying experiences that contribute to anger while building practical tools for emotional regulation, communication, and conflict management. My goal is to help clients respond more intentionally, strengthen relationships, and feel more in control of their emotions.

  • Compassion Fatigue External link

I support helping professionals experiencing compassion fatigue, burnout, secondary trauma, and the emotional weight of caring for others. I work with therapists, healthcare professionals, first responders, and others in high-demand roles to strengthen boundaries, process occupational stress, reconnect with themselves, and develop sustainable ways to care for others without losing themselves in the process.

  • PTSD External link

I specialize in working with adults impacted by PTSD and trauma, including veterans, active-duty military members, first responders, helping professionals, and individuals with histories of complex or repeated trauma. As an EMDR-certified therapist, I help clients process traumatic experiences, reduce triggers and hypervigilance, improve emotional regulation, and develop a greater sense of safety and control.
