My Background and Approach

I engage in the therapeutic process as a dynamic, creative and collaborative endeavor. Using an integrated framework, I draw from a variety of therapeutic models-depth psychotherapy, somatic awareness, attachment-based therapy, mindfulness based-interventions, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), among other evidence-based modalities -as we move toward your goals. I revel in a therapy that is both practical & expansive, present-centered & historical, and is inclusive of both gravity & humor. I hold a master’s degree in counseling psychology with an emphasis in depth psychology from Pacific Graduate Institute. I have experience working with perinatal & postpartum families & have training in perinatal mood & anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International (PSI). My practice is informed by over twenty years engagement with mindfulness and embodied movement practices, an insatiable curiosity, and a delight in paradox & playfulness.
