My Ideal Client

The clients I work with are individuals who come from varying cultural backgrounds, with unique life experiences and personal stories. They are determined and dedicated to exploring themselves openly and authentically while seeking to engage in a collaborative, therapeutic journey towards deeper self-awareness, greater self-confidence, and personal healing.

My Approach to Helping

My approach to therapy is eclectic, person-centered, and tailored to your needs. I believe individuals are motivated to discover solutions to the questions, struggles, uncertainties, and lack of meaning they are presently experiencing in their life. I am responsible for helping you identify, develop, and apply these solutions to your life in order to resolve current issues and challenges you are facing. I provide services to individuals who are struggling with an array of emotional health concerns including but not limited to anxiety, stress, grief, loss, trauma, and depression. I will work with you to find healthier solutions to enhance your wellbeing and live a more authentic life by creating a safe environment so you feel comfortable and confident with exploring yourself. Practicing this type of approach helps open the channels for us to create an authentic space where you can fully explore yourself as a whole person, which assists in facilitating growth and healing.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

My career journey has allowed me to compile over two decades of experience working with diverse individuals and communities across the lifespan throughout the social services, behavioral health, mental health, and healthcare fields spanning the east and west coasts. These experiences allowed me to gain invaluable skills, perspectives, and training which prepared me to become a therapist. I deeply enjoy collaborating with clients and helping them live lives with more awareness, intention, and meaning. It’s an honor to witness healing and liberation occur during our therapeutic journey together.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Humanistic  External link

I invite you to come as you are, wherever you may be along your deeply HUMAN journey. We all have unique stories, experiences, and complexities that influence the lenses in which we view ourselves and the world around us. Using a humanistic approach to therapy will allow us to uncover your most authentic self by finding ways to courageously embody your truest essence in all aspects of your life.

  • Existential External link

We often experience varying degrees of stress, anxiety, and depression when we aren’t fully and consciously tending to our needs in the present moment. We can easily become humans who are “doing” instead of humans who are “being.” Using an existential approach will allow us to stay present and explore your innermost fears, uncertainties, and lack of meaning you may be experiencing while finding new ways to overcome these challenges by engaging in greater acceptance and intentionality.

  • Eclectic External link

You are a unique human who has unique needs and reasons for entering therapy. Using eclectic approaches best tailored to your overall goals and outcomes will allow us to integrate the right approach at the right time. With your consent and collaboration I will utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to help best serve you along our therapeutic journey together.
