My Ideal Client

I often work with people who find themselves living out cycles that feel frustrating or outside of their control, or who have survived experiences that continue to impact their lives and relationships. Many feel disconnected from their bodies, emotions, or sense of self and are looking for a way to reconnect. I believe healing is for everyone and want you to feel your previous experiences and self-knowledge are respected in the room.

My Approach to Helping

I deeply believe that all healing starts with connection. I use somatic interventions, psychodynamic practice, relational theory, and a neurophysiological understanding of trauma to support healing. I do not rely on “just talking” to heal what hurts, and instead help you build a deeper connection with your body, emotions, and sense of self. With 23 years in social services in Chicago and Denver and the last 13 years as a clinician focused primarily on complex trauma care, I bring extensive experience supporting people who have survived trauma. I work from a social justice and anti-oppressive foundation and see radical authenticity, curiosity, and humor as key tools in transforming old pain and patterns into something closer to thriving.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am passionate about destigmatizing mental health care for people who didn't grow up with therapy as a norm, and I believe in offering the best care to people who have too often received less than they deserve within systems of care. I work from a social justice and anti-oppressive foundation and see radical authenticity, curiosity, and humor as important parts of the healing process. I cannot be the expert on your life, but I am here to accompany you on your journey toward greater freedom in your body and relationships.
