My Ideal Client

I work well with folks exploring identity, neurodivergence, grief/loss, nontraditional relationships, spiritual reconnection, and the everyday struggles of life under capitalism. I welcome those whose experiences live outside dominant narratives and am committed to resisting pathologizing models of care.

My Approach to Helping

In our sessions, we will follow what's alive for you in the moment, finding ways to give it voice. Drawing on IFS, Psychodynamics, Gestalt, art therapy, and Somatics, we explore your inner parts, patterns, and emotions. The goal is to deepen self-awareness, allowing healing from trauma, anxiety, and stress to unfold naturally and safely, supporting both your well-being and collective liberation.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My calling is to support folks in reconnecting with inner wisdom, creative resilience, and deep ancestral knowing. I see inner work as a creative act and individual art form to be cultivated. This includes building compassionate relationships with the many parts of self, like tending an inner community. That process can gently reveal how our internal dynamics shape, and are shaped by, our relationships with others. My social work lens means I hold your inner experiences in relationship with broader systems like family, culture, and power. I am interested in how trauma, identity, dominant cultural and relational norms, and disconnection from community shape our stories. I draw from Internal Family Systems, Somatic, Experiential, and earth-based spiritual perspectives. This might look like dialoguing with parts, role-playing, art-making, or pulling a tarot card. Whatever is needed in the moment!

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) External link

I draw upon Internal Family Systems, Gestalt, and other forms of parts work to help clients explore the different aspects of themselves, understanding how each part carries emotions, beliefs, and experiences. Together we build awareness and compassion for these parts, fostering internal harmony and supporting healing, helping you reconnect with your core Self and navigate life with greater clarity and balance.

  • Art Therapy External link

I use expressive art therapy, sand tray work, and the exploration of spiritual practices to help clients connect with and express emotions, experiences, and inner wisdom. Drawing on my fine arts degree and personal creative practice, I aim to create space for insight, healing, and growth. Together we use these modalities to uncover meaning, strengthen self-understanding, and connect with creativity as a source of resilience and guidance.

  • Motivational Interviewing External link

I use Motivational Interviewing, grounded in my training in strengths-based Social Work, to help folks clarify goals and find their own motivation for change. This collaborative, nonjudgmental approach supports exploration of ambivalence, builds confidence, and fosters choices aligned with your values. Together we focus on your strengths and autonomy to promote growth, self-efficacy, and sustainable change.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • LGBTQ Issues External link

I offer affirming care for LGBTQ+ folks, grounded in my lived experience as a queer and trans person. I understand how perceptions and systemic oppression shape our lives, and I hold space for both the joys and challenges of living authentically. Together we can heal from harm, deepen self-acceptance, and cultivate joy, connection, and belonging.

  • Spirituality External link

I support folks in discovering and deepening their own spiritual path, whatever that looks like. I hold space for all traditions while drawing on my personal roots and extensive training in earth-based, animistic spiritual traditions and healing. Our work together will emphasize exploration and meaning-making over doing anything ‘right,’ helping you find a spiritual practice that feels authentic, connective, and nourishing to you.

  • PTSD External link

I support folks living with the effects of trauma, drawing on my own journey with complex PTSD. I understand how trauma can get stuck in the body, shaping thoughts, perceptions, and relationships. Together we explore safe, creative ways to express and work with these experiences, building resilience, healing, and a renewed sense of agency while honoring your unique process.

  • Loss or Grief External link

I offer compassionate support through grief and loss, drawing on my own healing journey and training as a death doula. I see grief as a natural human process that can hold pain, love, and growth together. In our work, we make space for your all of your feelings and explore how meaning can emerge from loss, allowing new possibilities for connection, purpose, and wholeness to take root.
