My Ideal Client

I specialize in supporting people who are healing from trauma in its many forms—with a particular focus on complex and relational trauma, as well as the impact of attachment wounds and religious trauma. I also work with those navigating the effects of acute events that may lead to PTSD. In addition, I support clients in exploring and affirming LGBTQ+ identities, addressing men’s concerns, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I work with adult individuals and couples across the lifespan.

My Approach to Helping

I’m a Professional Counselor Associate with a Master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling and a Certificate in Ecotherapy from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Portland State University. My clinical work focuses on complex trauma and PTSD, LGBTQ+ identity and exploration, men’s issues, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I integrate existential therapy, attachment theory, mindfulness and ecotherapy in my practice, helping clients explore the connections between their emotional well-being and the world around them. This holistic, client-centered approach emphasizes healing through relationships and our connection to nature. I believe that understanding the interplay between personal struggles and external relationships is key to emotional growth and healing.

My Approach to Helping

I believe that healing is not only possible, but transformative. A safe therapeutic relationship can be a powerful catalyst for meaningful change. We all carry stories, patterns, and pain that shape how we move through the world, and it’s in the space of therapy that we can begin to gently examine those experiences, find clarity, and reconnect with ourselves in new ways. Whether you're navigating the effects of trauma, questioning long-held beliefs, facing a major life transition, or simply sensing that something could be different, you're not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
