My Background and Approach

I primarily view treatment through an attachment lens, however I also have training in various modalities, including IFS, Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Humanistic, Relational, and Trauma-Informed therapy. Having a background in clinical social work means I see each client in a holistic way, with the understanding that ones' community and family systems impact their overall well-being. I have worked with adults, children, and families in both schools and in community mental health settings. I have a gained specialty training and practice in working in perinatal mental health and have enjoyed supporting birthing individuals and their partners during pregnancy and the post-partum period. Experienced in serving the LGBTQIA+ community, I enjoy helping individuals navigating life transitions, whether it be more fully expressing one's gender or coming to terms with one's sexual orientation later in life. I also work with providers in the medical and mental health community.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a proud member of and advocate for the LGTBQIA+ community and welcome clients of all sexual orientations and/or gender identities. I also strive to live and practice with an anti-racist framework and actively look for opportunities to become a more knowledgeable and competent advocate for racial justice and disability justice.
