My Ideal Client

I am interesting in helping clients - individuals, couples and partners resolve issues related to sexuality. I am in the process of completing a comprehensive sex therapy training program with the Institute for Sexuality Education and Enlightenment (ISEE). Coursework includes topics such as Kink, BDSM, Sexuality and aging, Sex and pregnancy, Desire, Arousal, Trauma, Pornography, Intersections of Sex and Technology, Communication, Betrayal / Infidelity and Pleasure.

My Approach to Helping

My style is warm and collaborative. As an existential-humanistic counselor, I believe that exploring meaning and authentic self-expression contribute to fulfillment and a sense of well-being. My intention is to facilitate a process where clients can receive support and mindfully address whatever aspects of their life may need attention and healing. I have extensive training in issues related to sexuality based on coursework and clinical supervision. I am passionate about creating a space where folks can ultimately feel sexually empowered.

More About the People We Treat

I became a counselor because growing up I struggled with anxiety and depression and counseling helped me tremendously. I believe in the transformative effect that counseling can have on people's lives. I consider it a great honor and privilege to get to do this work. Getting to witness others on this journey of healing and transformation in whatever form it may take is what makes me so dedicated to this work.
