My Ideal Client

I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, identity, and major life transitions. I also enjoy working with athletes, parents, first and second responders, and high-performing professionals who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed, with attention to the connection between mind, body, relationships, and meaning, helping clients feel grounded & connected

My Approach to Helping

I believe therapy starts with feeling heard, understood, and accepted for who you are. My approach is collaborative and grounded in the idea that you know yourself best. My role is to walk alongside you, help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, and create a space where you can explore what may be getting in the way of the life you want. I draw from CBT, ACT, narrative, mindfulness, and somatic approaches, but I don’t believe therapy should feel like following a formula. I tailor our work to you, your experiences, and what feels most helpful. I also pay attention to the connection between the mind and body and how our experiences can show up in both. Whether you’re facing anxiety, trauma, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, identity questions, or a major life transition, we’ll work together at a pace that feels right for you. My hope is that therapy helps you better understand yourself, reconnect with what matters, and feel more equipped to move forward.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I value authenticity, curiosity, compassion, and creating a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. I believe our experiences, relationships, culture, beliefs, and stories shape who we are, and I’m interested in understanding the whole person rather than focusing only on a diagnosis. My background in sport psychology has shaped my appreciation for resilience, growth, and the connection between mental and physical well-being. Outside of counseling, I enjoy sports, family and friends, staying active, and exploring mindfulness and personal growth. I’m also drawn to questions of meaning, purpose, identity, and navigating difficult seasons. If you’re looking for someone who will listen deeply, be curious with you, meet you where you are, and gently challenge you when helpful, we may be a good fit. My hope is that our work feels supportive and meaningful while helping you move toward the person and life you want to create.
