My Ideal Client

At Portland Counseling and Behavioral Health, I collaborate with individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and actions to gain insight and achieve wellness. We utilize tools and strategies to manage stressors, concerns, and behaviors. . In working with children, I incorporate play and art to help them express their thoughts and feelings. I prioritize relational dynamics in therapy to create a supportive counseling environment.

My Approach to Helping

I work with all ages who presenting with variety of issues and challenges. In addition to working with adults, I work with teens and children in regards to emotional and behavioral issues. Additionally, I offer consultations to parents to develop skills and strategies for supporting their child.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am dedicated to providing the highest level of care to my patients, promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. I focus on the relational dynamics of therapy to foster conducive counseling relationships. I prioritize education and empirical research, continually updating and expanding my knowledge in psychology to apply to clients. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology. I have practiced in San Francisco, Central Pennsylvania, and Nebraska, and have been in Portland for 7 years. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, adventuring with my golden retriever, and playing heavy metal music,
