My Ideal Client

I enjoy working with women navigating anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who spend much of their time caring for others while feeling disconnected from themselves. I work especially well with those who are curious about exploring patterns, reconnecting with their bodies and emotions, and creating a more grounded, meaningful, and fulfilling life.

My Approach to Helping

I believe healing is not just about understanding our thoughts, but also reconnecting with our bodies, emotions, and inner experiences. My approach is integrative, compassionate, and collaborative, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy, Brainspotting, mindfulness, and somatic practices. As an Oregon Licensed Professional Counselor, California Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and Board-Certified Art Therapist, I bring a holistic perspective to therapy. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, explore patterns, process difficult experiences, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. Together, we'll work toward greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and meaningful, lasting change.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

I believe the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. My style is warm, authentic, and collaborative. I bring curiosity, compassion, and a genuine desire to understand your unique experiences without judgment. I won't approach you with a one-size-fits-all solution or expect you to have everything figured out. Instead, we'll work together to understand what you're experiencing, explore patterns that may no longer serve you, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others. I value creating a space where you can feel safe enough to be vulnerable, challenged enough to grow, and supported as you move toward a more connected and fulfilling life.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) External link

I integrate CBT to help clients recognize the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns, explore beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to navigate anxiety, manage difficult emotions, and create meaningful changes in daily life.

  • Mindfulness-based External link

I incorporate mindfulness practices to help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations without judgment. Through breathwork, meditation, and present-moment awareness, we work toward reducing stress, improving emotional regulation, and cultivating a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

  • Art Therapy External link

As a Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), I incorporate creative expression as a way to explore emotions, experiences, and patterns that can sometimes be difficult to put into words. No artistic experience is necessary. Art therapy offers an opportunity for deeper self-discovery, emotional processing, and connection with your inner experiences.

  • Brainspotting External link

I integrate Brainspotting to support clients in processing difficult emotions and experiences that may feel difficult to access through traditional talk therapy alone. This approach uses eye positions and focused awareness to help access and process experiences held in the brain and body, supporting deeper emotional processing and healing.

  • Somatic Therapy (Body Centered) External link

I incorporate somatic approaches to help clients develop a deeper connection with their bodies and understand how stress and emotional experiences can show up physically. Through body awareness, gentle movement, and grounding practices, we explore patterns of tension and disconnection while building greater emotional regulation and a sense of safety within the body.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Anxiety External link

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, overthinking, and persistent feelings of overwhelm. Together, we explore the underlying patterns contributing to anxiety while developing tools for emotional regulation, greater self-awareness, and a stronger sense of calm and safety in the body.

  • Self-Esteem External link

I help individuals explore self-worth, self-criticism, perfectionism, and patterns of people-pleasing. Together, we'll work toward developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself, strengthening boundaries, and building confidence in your needs, values, and identity.

  • Women's Issues External link

I enjoy supporting women navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, identity shifts, burnout, and the pressures of balancing competing roles and expectations. I offer a compassionate space to explore changing needs, reconnect with yourself, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, grounded, and fulfilling.

  • Depression External link

I support individuals navigating depression, low motivation, emotional exhaustion, and feelings of disconnection. Therapy offers space to explore underlying experiences, reconnect with your emotions, and gradually rediscover a sense of purpose, connection, and meaning. My approach integrates traditional and creative therapies to support healing and growth.
