My Ideal Client

Do you have difficulty with feeling overly sensitive, not knowing what helps you in times of stress, or are unclear on what’s important to you? Maybe you desire sustainable connection with others or to stand up for yourself or others you care about? If your dreams and hopes for confidence, community, and creativity aren't developing strong roots in your life, please get in contact with me as a value aligned action towards cultivating that growth.

My Approach to Helping

It all starts with a building a trusting relationship/therapeutic alliance where your voice and opinions on problems and care are equally important in the room. My approach is relational and person-centered, meaning recognizing the changes you’re already motivated for and using this contained and professional relationship to explore personal relational challenges. Other ways we will likely work together is to explore with creative art directives, not in a way that devalues your skills, development, or outcome; but for expanding and enhancing your process. I am informed by intersectional feminist theory, which considers how different aspects of your identity (like gender, race, and class) affect your experiences and nature-based techniques, utilizing the healing power of nature. Somatic techniques will be encouraged in our time together in order to practice mindfulness skills, journaling, and self reflection.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Before I became a therapist, I know the most powerful positive impact to my life was the gift of compassion and curiosity given I needed help. Someone to sit through the storm of it with me, to accept me a human being (flaws and all), and to listen to me carefully. My hope to is to hold this understanding with you and continue exploring your human experience and your hopeful outcomes. I value stillness, inclusion, creativity, and questions to educate and create expansion in perspective which grows relational discernment. I will facilitate space for you to grow into a more rounded and sustainable self-knowing, and to help with recovery and growth towards your inspiration.
