My Ideal Client

I work with all varieties of people, with a focus in treating needs for people with CPTSD, neurodivergence, substance abuse, marginalized communities, and religious trauma. If you experience chronic dysfunction or relationship challenges. If you have unresolved social, emotional, and power dynamics that have left lasting impacts, emotional or mental blockages, need assistance navigating expected and unexpected life transitions, challenges with self-management, or oppressive systems. We may fit.

My Approach to Helping

I help people by listening with curiosity, reflecting what is shared in our time together, offering co-regulation and self-regulating skills, and directed creative exploration. Exploring with creative art directives can expand your expressive practices and understanding, and teach you how to be with important life materials. I am inspired and empowered by relational intersectional feminist theories, which consider how different aspects of identity and oppressive systems (like gender, race, abilities, and class) influence and impact your experiences. I also look for nature-based metaphor/elements to reframe growth needs through the physical and energetic processes of nature. I provide support through EFT & Somatic approaches, MI, CBT, ACT, and bibliography and emphasis on a creative experiment with life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Before I became a therapist, I experienced the most powerful positive impact to my life via the gifts of compassion and curiosity. Others traveling the storm of it with me, accepting me as a whole human being (flaws and all), and co-reflecting on the understanding of my experiences… it helped me solidify my felt sense of the world and my values in navigating it. My hope to is to build this understanding with you. To explore many things; primarily your strengths, challenges, and whatever North Star guides you. I value autonomy, curiosity, and of course creativity! I also want to educate, facilitate personal and collective empowerment, and to nurture a holistic and flexible perspective through the process of a relational practice. I will absolutely talk about political events, the personal and collective impacts of these events, and during these discussions I will facilitate the space to explore the current needs resulting from these developments. None of us are meant to work alone.
