My Ideal Client

My clients are often high-functioning people who have gotten really good at appearing fine. They're managing jobs, relationships, and responsibilities, while internally exhausted, anxious, or quietly struggling with something they haven't told many people about. I work with adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, life transitions, and substance use concerns. If any of this sounds familiar, you're in the right place.

My Approach to Helping

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-I) with over five years of experience supporting people through crisis, trauma, burnout, and major life transitions. I offer telehealth therapy to adults and teens anywhere in Oregon. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and collaborative. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based tools, blending what's most relevant to you rather than following a rigid formula. I believe therapy should feel grounded in real life. That means practical strategies you can actually use, space to process what you're carrying, and an approach we build together based on your goals, values, and pace.

Why I Became a Therapist

I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, not just those who can easily afford it or live close to services. I am especially passionate about serving people in rural and underserved communities across Oregon, where geographic isolation and limited resources can make getting support feel out of reach. I also care deeply about the recovery community. Substance use is so often misunderstood, and I am committed to bringing a non-judgmental, compassionate lens to that work. And as someone who believes in equity for women and marginalized communities, I strive to create a practice where people feel genuinely seen, respected, and welcomed, whatever they're carrying when they walk in. At the end of the day, I became a therapist because I know that having the right support at the right time can change everything.
