My Ideal Client

I work well with clients who long to heal and transmute their trauma into wholeness and connection with their authentic Self. Often times, the crises we experience in life, whether the death of a loved one, the loss of identity, divorce, or a significantly disorienting life experience, while painful and frightening, can be an impetus to bringing us closer and more deeply connected to the wholeness of who we truly are underneath the layers of roles, identities and protection built since childhood

What I Specialize In

I am EMDR Certified and incorporate ego state work into all my therapeutic work with clients. Understanding our internal parts of Self is foundational for healing trauma, nervous system regulation, improved self worth, and psychological wholeness. Over the last four years, I've deepened my work with my clients to include more alternative methods  of healing including: EMDR for children, EMDR Intensives, Ketamine Assisted EMDR, Psychedelic Preparation and Integration, Sound healing, SoulCollage™, and IADC [Induced After Death Communication] A rapid grief processing protocol using bilateral stimulation, similar to EMDR to rapidly reprocess traumatic grief and significantly reduce pain associated with prolonged grief. See my website for more detailed information about my services

My Values as a Therapist

I’ve been in the mental health field since 1994 and so much has changed in our world in those 30 years. My core values are Compassion, Connection and Authenticity. I filter my beliefs, my decisions and my interactions through the lens of my values and my impact in the world. I incorporate a broader perspective of understanding the individual human condition as we are all affected by the relational woundedness and damage caused by dysfunctional societal systems and constructs versus the model that pathologizes individual human behavior as somehow separate from societal, biological and generational influence. I have spent the last year volunteering for hospice, which has included providing Sound Baths for patients in memory care centers. This has been a joy to be a part of, and I feel honored to spend time with those who are nearing their transition. I am continually engaged in my own internal exploration and view lifelong growth as an unfolding sacred gift

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • PTSD External link

I am EMDR certified and have specialized experience in trauma work with children and adults over the last 30 years. I help clients process unresolved experiences, reconnect with their inner strength, and transform patterns rooted in early attachment wounds or life-altering events. My approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices like EMDR, ego state work, Mindfulness, and nervous system regulation.

  • Depression External link

Much of our struggles with anxiety and depression are rooted in misaligned beliefs, feeling "stuck" in problematic patterns, difficulties with connecting to our Self and others, and problematic coping patterns that may have helped us feel protected as children but now cause disruption and suffering. We will explore these areas together and help you learn and integrate more aligned ways of functioning that enhance expansion in your life

  • Loss or Grief External link

“I use Induced After-Death Communication (IADC) as a gentle, evidence-informed approach to healing grief. IADC helps clients access a state of deep emotional processing where unresolved pain, longing, or unfinished communication can be released. Many people experience a profound sense of connection, peace, or closure that helps shift their relationship to their deceased loved one. This process supports meaningful integration, reduced painful emotion and a renewed relationship with the deceased
