My Ideal Client

Sometimes we reach a place in life where we feel stuck and uncertain of how to move forward. Reaching out for help can be hard, and is often one of the bravest things a person can do. I have helped many people take that brave step forward. I work primarily with individuals; teenagers through older adults and specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression and life transitions. I hold a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ population and have supported people transitioning and exploring their sexuality.

My Approach to Helping

I consider myself to be an integrative therapist - I am trained in many models of therapy and use interventions in a natural, conversational way. My therapy modalities include: Internal Family Systems, DBT, CBT, Inner Child, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Somatic Therapy. I am also a Reiki practitioner and meditation teacher. We all reach a point in life when we need a guide to point us in the right direction. Healing is a process that takes patience and compassion. Please don't hesitate to reach out for a free consultation to see if I am the right therapist for you. The best way to connect with me is through Alma, who I use for billing and scheduling.

My Values as a Therapist

I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard and accepted for who they are. As a social worker I hold a social justice frame work and feel my client is the best reporter of their own experience. I am open to talking about the therapy process itself to ensure that my client feels seen and understood. Therapy is a sacred space that should be created collaboratively so that it feels safe. The work I do can feel vulnerable and it’s important my clients feel in control of the pace and trust has been built in the therapeutic relationship. Healing wounds and diving deep into complex blocks that come up in life is some of the hardest and most important work you will ever do. I take my role as your guide seriously and am honored to be part of a healing process.
