My Ideal Client

I work to help people feel more comfortable with themselves and navigate life with more ease. I've observed that talking things through can help shift thinking and develop solutions, and that somatic (body) work can get to places that the mind alone can't to. Somatic-focused EMDR, where we work closely with body sensations related to problem areas, can more quickly get to the root of the problem and achieve resolution, after which changes and solutions appear more organically.

I offer a variety of therapeutic techniques, and collaborate with you about what feels most aligned with your goals. My intent is to meet you where you are at, and to reach an understand where the problems, or blocks, really are, and to work towards getting them unstuck. My overall goal is to help you to move towards being your genuine self.

    I was trained in EMDR in 2016 and taken numerous advanced trainings, including working with early attachment, developmental trauma, recent trauma, addiction, and somatic tracking for resilience and making EMDR more effective. I have also found that some EMDR techniques can ease physical pain where it may be tied to unexpressed emotion.
