I work with a wide range of clients, and my focus is to help you gain clarity, access inner wisdom, find relief and work towards healthy change. It is possible to feel better, experience more , connect in a more fulfilling way with others, express yourself with increased creativity.

My Approach to Helping

My approach is compassionate and heart-centered, and our work is collaborative. I utilize a variety of tools, including identifying and changing negative believes, working with the body-somatic system for understanding and change, weaving in creativity and spirituality to enhance. Practicing awareness of the present moment is a powerful healer, and helps to synthesize experiences, thoughts, and emotions. Working with the emotions--identifying them, expressing them, and interpreting their wisdom, is also crucial for healing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My passion for psychological and spiritual health has been lifelong. Education includes ongoing training in EMDR, and somatic therapies. My work experience includes many years in community mental health, hospital-based programs, and private practice. Special interest in trauma, especially developmental trauma and neglect. My personal work around historical trauma allows me an additional level of understanding.

    We hear about the importance of exercising our bodies, stimulating our minds, and feeling our feelings. Many of us lack spiritual nourishment, which it vital for us to be our best selves. Common spiritual truths include love and compassion for self and others, and taking personal responsibility. You can gain immense security and profound peace by living from the wisdom of your higher self.

    Anxiety and worry can be a barometer to let us know that something is out of balance or wrong that we need to pay attention to, and this can include emotions that are blocked and not being tended to or listened to. I can assist you by seeking cause, gleaning wisdom, and finding relief and a feeling of greater ease.
