My Approach to Helping

I incorporate a variety of approaches into my way of working with people and believe that it is important to collaborate to find an approach that fits the client's needs. That being said, I often utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and other mindfulness based approaches. Many people benefit greatly from having the opportunity to talk through the challenges they are facing in life. Additional benefit can be had from focusing on a particular difficulty and developing a focused plan to bring about change. Counseling is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

I hold a masters degree in professional mental health counseling from Lewis & Clark College. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Oregon. My professional experience has brought me into contact with a wide variety of people. I specialize in supporting people struggling with difficult mood states, and who are seeking to remove obstacles to their wellbeing. I am also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
