My Ideal Client

I founded Keshet Counseling to support individuals who often feel overlooked or misunderstood in traditional therapy spaces. My work is especially meaningful to those navigating the complexities of chronic illness—such as Lyme disease, Mold Toxicity, MCAS, and other invisible disabilities—as well as those facing antisemitism or discrimination for not aligning with political or institutional expectations.

My Approach to Helping

I also work closely with teens and adults dealing with narcissistic abuse, multicultural identity issues, codependency, love addiction, grief, and trauma. Right now, I am also extending care and support to Jewish teens, couples, and adults who are facing intense levels of antisemitism in their schools, workplaces, communities, and everyday lives. I see you, and I’m here to help you navigate this painful and frightening reality with compassion and resilience. My approach is rooted in holistic and integral psychology—I work with the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. Our work together will often draw on somatic practices, depth psychology, and mindfulness. We’ll explore what you’re feeling, where those emotions live in your body, and the unconscious beliefs and patterns shaping your experience. Together, we’ll work to understand the deeper meanings and roots of your challenges. I don’t believe there’s something wrong with you—rather, what happened to you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I hold a humanistic view of healing: I believe you are already whole, worthy, and deeply capable of transformation. My role is to help reconnect you to your own inner knowing, and I view our relationship as a collaborative space where your voice and wisdom lead the way. I’m an active and engaged therapist—not just a passive listener. You can expect me to be real and honest. If you’re coming to therapy, I believe it’s because you want real change, and I'll hold you to that. Taking that first step can feel daunting, but you don’t have to go it alone. I’m here to walk alongside you with curiosity, honesty, and care. Congrats on taking the first step to get the help you deserve.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Mindfulness-based External link

I have extensive training and experience in mindfulness-based approaches, which allow me to help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. This skill supports healing by fostering present-moment awareness and self-compassion, helping clients navigate challenges with more clarity and calm.

  • Somatic Therapy (Body Centered) External link

I am trained in somatic therapy techniques that help clients connect with how emotions and trauma are held in the body. By tuning into physical sensations, we can gently release tension and create healing that integrates mind and body, supporting deeper emotional recovery.

  • Depth Therapy External link

I specialize in depth therapy, which explores the unconscious stories and deeper meanings behind your experiences. This approach helps uncover hidden patterns and facilitates meaningful insight and healing beyond surface-level symptoms.

  • Relational  External link

I practice relational therapy, focusing on the healing power of the therapeutic relationship itself. Through genuine connection and collaboration, we explore patterns in your relationships and work toward building healthier, more fulfilling connections both in and outside of therapy.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Chronic Pain or Illness External link

In addition to my work in other areas, I have a deep commitment to supporting those living with chronic illness and chronic pain—particularly individuals navigating the complex challenges of Lyme disease, mold illness, and related conditions. I understand how exhausting and isolating these experiences can be, and I’m here to offer a validating, informed, and compassionate space for healing.

  • Abuse External link

I understand the deep confusion, pain, and self-doubt that often come with surviving narcissistic abuse. Together, we’ll work to unravel the impact this experience has had on your sense of self, boundaries, and relationships. I provide a compassionate and validating space where you can rebuild your confidence, reclaim your voice, and begin to heal from the trauma. I have worked with survivors of parental narcissistic abuse, workplace abuse, institutional abuse, and relational abuse.

  • Anxiety External link

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety by looking at the whole person—mind, body, and environment. Together, we’ll gently explore how your physical health and daily life might be affecting your anxiety. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you can better understand your experience and find ways to feel more balanced and at ease.

  • Codependency External link

I understand how codependency can feel like being stuck in patterns that leave you drained or unsure of your own needs. Together, we’ll explore the ways these patterns developed and how they impact your relationships and sense of self. My approach is gentle and collaborative, creating a space where you can begin to set healthy boundaries and reconnect with your own voice.
