My Ideal Client

I specialize in treating complex trauma and dissociation, and work with co-occurring disorders such as eating disorders, OCD, substance use disorders, anxiety, and depression. In addition to trauma therapy, I also offer Reiki as a holistic energetic healing practice. I love working with the LGBTQ+ population and identify as a queer person, and also welcome working with folks of all backgrounds.

My Approach to Helping

Exceptional trauma therapy is rooted in the context of safety and containment. Healing from past challenges and traumas can allow us to envision and step into a future of prosperity and peace. Each person’s path to healing is as unique as their journey, so I take a non-judgmental, holistic, and integrative approach to walk with you through your journey of self-discovery and growth. I work primarily with individuals, and provide some couples and family therapy on a case by case basis. I use a trauma focused approach, working with you to identify your goals for change & growth at your pace. I offer a combination of evidence based therapeutic modalities: Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Structural Dissociation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, & Mindfulness.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a writer, therapist, educator, energy healer, artist, advocate, animal lover and nature enthusiast. As a complex trauma survivor myself, I am incredibly passionate about providing the highest quality care to recover from existing in systems and cycles of trauma and harm. In my work, I embody a liberation and harm reduction based approach to reduce shame and open pathways for connection to the self, community, and the world at large. I recognize that our individual lives are connected to the collective, and that our lives have been shaped by systems of oppression and exploitation. I work with clients from the cellular level to the macro level to achieve healing so that you can engage with your life’s path and purpose in a way that is in line with your values and responsibilities, and ultimately participate in the collective for greater change.
