Feelings of sadness are natural feelings that everyone experiences throughout their lifetime, however when those feelings develop into intense and overwhelming thoughts, it can be a tough process to pull yourself out of. Wild Wish offers the help you need to bring you back to a happier healthier you. Depression isn’t always brought on by a sad or traumatic event and can last as little as a day to a lifelong battle. Sometimes we don't have a reason, but you do not have to face it alone.
Individuals who have experienced a traumatic or terrifying event (often life threatening) can develop flashbacks, nightmares, severe anxiety and uncontrollable thoughts about the event. Wild Wish Counseling works with our patients to help manage the intense feelings surrounding a traumatic or terrifying event. Although the instigating event may overpower coping resources available at the time, it is nevertheless possible to develop healthy ways of coping and diminishing its effects.
Anxiety is an unprecedented response to any type of threat in reality or imagined. The fear of what could happen, is happening or is yet to come can bring an overwhelming sense of fear or apprehension with the capability of causing physical symptoms. Wild Wish Counseling works with our patients to help manage these intense feelings of fear and nervousness. Whether a big event or a small stressor in life is causing anxiety attacks, our team will help bring you to a healthier state of mind.
Suffering the death of a loved one can have a tremendous impact on your emotional wellbeing and last for years to come. We, as people, form strong bonds with our friends, family and loved ones.
