My Ideal Client

You're an adult who looks like you're holding it all together, but inside you feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship stress, trauma, or the weight of everything on your plate. Maybe you're exhausted from overthinking, constantly putting others first, or trying to manage emotions that feel bigger than you can handle alone. Together, we'll create a supportive space where you can gain insight, build skills, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and authentic.

My Approach to Helping

believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine collaboration. My role isn't to tell you what to do, but to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and develop tools that support lasting change. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) serving adults throughout Oregon via telehealth. My specialties include trauma, anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, and life transitions. I am trained in EMDR and integrate approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT skills, and person-centered therapy. Every client is different, so I tailor therapy to your unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you're working through past experiences, navigating current stressors, or simply wanting to create a more fulfilling life, therapy can provide a space for growth, healing, and meaningful change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

believe people are often much harder on themselves than they would ever be on someone they love. My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you feel accepted, understood, and supported while working toward meaningful change. I value curiosity over judgment and believe growth can happen at any stage of life. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my grandchildren, and I love being outdoors whenever I can. Camping, nature, and quiet moments away from the demands of everyday life help me stay grounded and connected to what matters most. These experiences remind me of the importance of balance, resilience, and making room for both healing and joy.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) External link

I have completed formal DBT training and integrate DBT skills into my work with adults experiencing emotional overwhelm, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and life stressors. DBT offers practical tools for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness, helping clients build healthier coping strategies and navigate challenges with greater confidence.

  • EMDR External link

I have completed extensive training in EMDR and integrate EMDR-informed approaches into my work with trauma, anxiety, distressing life experiences, and negative self-beliefs. EMDR can help clients process difficult experiences, reduce emotional distress, and develop a greater sense of resilience and well-being.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • PTSD External link

Trauma can affect how we view ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us long after difficult experiences have ended. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II) training in EMDR, I help clients process traumatic experiences, reduce distressing symptoms, and move toward healing with greater confidence, self-compassion, and resilience.

  • ADHD External link

ADHD is much more than distractibility. Many adults with ADHD struggle with overwhelm, procrastination, emotional regulation, organization, self-criticism, and feeling like they're constantly falling behind despite working incredibly hard. As an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), I help clients better understand how their brains work, develop practical strategies, and build on their strengths rather than constantly fighting against themselves.
