My Ideal Client

I specialize in working with adults including, but not limited to, all genders, neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and highly sensitive individuals. I practice cultural awareness and engage in regular cultural competency training to ensure quality care for individuals of all cultural backgrounds. I work with trans individuals under the WPATH standards of care. Common symptoms I support include anxiety, depression, dysphoria, dissociation and intellectualization of emotions, trauma, and low self-esteem.

My Approach to Helping

I incorporate somatic therapy and art therapy with regular talk therapy, inviting clients to engage in mindful movement and expressive arts techniques. Art therapy is for all levels of artistic experience and involves personal expression using imagery and symbolism to tap into deep healing and self-understanding. Somatic therapy involves listening to the body to process trauma, stuck emotions, and stress/anxiety and to soothe the nervous system and promote a sense of safety and relaxation. If you are looking for a place to "go deeper" in your healing journey or to better connect to your authenticity, I provide a compassionate space for you to come home to yourself and express who you are in relationships, career, communication, and other aspects of your life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a individual with lived experience of neurodivergence and complex PTSD, deeply informing my approach in supporting neurodivergence and trauma/PTSD in therapy sessions. My values in the healing journey involve embodying authenticity and inner security to promote self expression, inform choice-making, and improve overall relationship with self. My goal is you help you feel empowered in who you are and express your authenticity through your life choices, relationships, career, and all other aspects of your life. I understand that sometimes the hardest part of therapy is reaching out. I offer 15-minute consultations to find if we are a good fit, during which you can share your current mental health experiences and goals. I believe humans are resilient, but we do not need to go through the hardest things alone. If you would like to work with me, please send me a message with your name, age, and a short reason you are seeking therapy and I will get back to you as soon as I am able.
