My Ideal Client

I work with adults and couples who may look capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in painful patterns underneath. You may be carrying trauma, relationship or attachment wounds, anxiety, family expectations, or experiences passed down through generations. I especially welcome women, LGBTQ+, first-generation, and BIPOC clients looking for a space to feel understood, reconnect with themselves, and create healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

My Approach to Helping

I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling genuinely seen, understood, and safe enough to be honest—even about the parts of yourself you may struggle to understand or accept. My approach is warm, relational, culturally responsive, and direct when needed. Together, we’ll explore not only what you’re experiencing today, but the relationships, experiences, and patterns that may have shaped how you learned to cope, connect, and protect yourself. I integrate attachment-based and trauma-focused therapy with Brainspotting, EMDR, somatic approaches, family systems, psychodynamic work, and neuroscience. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor our work to you and your goals. We’ll make space for both insight and practical change—helping you heal unresolved wounds, understand your nervous system, strengthen your relationship with yourself and others, and create new ways of moving through life that feel more grounded, connected, and authentically yours.

Why I Became a Therapist

I became a therapist because I’ve always been drawn to the stories beneath the surface—the experiences, relationships, cultures, and family histories that shape who we become. I believe our struggles rarely exist in isolation; they often make sense when we understand what we’ve lived through, what we were taught to carry, and how we learned to survive and stay connected. As a queer, first-generation Latina, I understand the importance of having spaces where all parts of who we are can exist without explanation, judgment, or having to make ourselves smaller. This deeply informs my commitment to culturally responsive and LGBTQ+ affirming care. More than a decade into this work, I remain honored to witness people reconnect with themselves, heal what has been carried across relationships and generations, and create lives that feel more authentic, connected, and fully their own.

Specialties

I have extensive experience supporting adults with PTSD, complex trauma, and developmental and relational trauma. My work recognizes that trauma can affect far more than memories—it can shape the nervous system, relationships, identity, trust, and the ways we learn to protect ourselves. I integrate trauma-focused, attachment-based, and somatic approaches, including EMDR and Brainspotting, to help clients process painful experiences at a pace that feels safe, build greater regulation, and move to
