My Background and Approach
I have a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and have been in professional counseling practice since 2012. I am licensed in both Washington and Oregon and have additional national credentials as an approved supervisor, board-certified tele-mental health provider, and certified counselor. I am a generalist counselor able to assist clients with quite a few issues. I specialize in working with young adults, mental health impacts of climate change, parenting issues, couples counseling, and men's issues. I approach counseling from a blended solutions-focused and acceptance and commitment therapy lens. I aim to make counseling as helpful as possible for my clients while assisting them in developing a flexible approach to life.
