My Ideal Client

You are deserving to grow through what you've gone through! Whether you are facing significant life transitions, relational conflict, lost sense of self or wishing to expand your emotional awareness - My hope is to provide a therapeutic space that empowers you to reconnect with your own innate resiliency. I believe that through deeper understanding comes greater self-awareness and the ability to identify your truest needs, wants, wishes, desires and authentically express yourself!

What I Specialize In

I am passionate about working with emerging to middle-aged adults with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, recovery from trauma, self-worth and people-pleasing behaviors, stress management, boundary work, career and identity exploration. In therapy, I often incorporate parts of self work, somatic and mindfulness techniques to help clients foster the connection between their mind and body. I also work with couples and adult families with a focus on multi-generational patterns and narratives, conflict resolution, enhancing intimacy and communication dynamics!

Why I am a Good Fit for You

Recognizing that you are the expert of your own life, I prioritize meeting my clients where they are at and tailoring therapy to meet their unique needs. As a trauma-informed, inclusive, and LGBTQIA2S+ affirming therapist, I value diversity and strive to create a safe and supporting environment where my clients feel hear and understood, I aim to provide a warm, curious, collaborative, person-centered and strengths-based approach with a sprinkle of humor!

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Narrative  External link

I approach therapy through a Narrative lens, meaning we’ll explore the stories you’ve been told, and the ones you tell yourself, about who you are. Together, we’ll gently examine how these narratives may have been shaped by past experiences, relationships, and systems, and whether they still serve you. I aim to create a space where you feel empowered to separate yourself from challenges, reconnect with your values, and begin to author a story that feels more aligned and authentic.

  • Somatic Therapy (Body Centered) External link

My work is somatic-centered, inviting us to tune into your body’s present-moment experience. Together, we’ll explore how emotions live in the body and what they may be communicating. By building this awareness, you can reconnect with your inner wisdom.

  • Brainspotting External link

Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-body therapy that helps process and release trauma stored beneath conscious awareness. By identifying “brainspots” connected to unresolved experiences, the body can let go of what talk therapy may not reach. This process honors intuition as a guide, creating space for deep healing, emotional release, and lasting integration.

  • Humanistic  External link

We are all humans first. Your experiences and interpretations of those experiences are central to understanding your place in the world. From a humanistic, relational, and strengths-based lens, we can explore these experiences together, while also honoring the ways your relationships have shaped you and the strengths you already carry. Through this process, you can discover and connect more deeply with your unique self.

  • Attachment Theory External link

Early childhood relationships, interactions, and experiences provide a blueprint for how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. Has the world felt safe? Have you found trust and reliability in others? Understanding your attachments can be a powerful tool in unraveling old relationship patterns and fostering meaningful and secure changes!

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Anxiety External link

Learn to accept anxiety all the while working to change it! I often work with clients to explore how they feel, the roots of the obstacle, and understand their ineffective thoughts / behaviors through evidence-based modalities, while determining effective coping mechanisms. As well, I often incorporate mindfulness-based interventions to aid in resolving stress, overwhelm, and panic stored in the body.

  • Historical Trauma External link

It's important to take time in recognizing and understanding how traumatic experience have impacted one's mental, behavioral, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being! I often work with clients in exploring the connection between a trauma experience and associated emotional and behavioral responses. As well, I often incorporate mindfulness-based interventions to aid in healing trauma stored in the body.

  • Relationship / Marriage Issues External link

Utilizing Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, I work with adult families and couples in resolving various issues! EFT concentrates on strengthening trust and bond between partners, while looking at how individuals process their experiences, emotions, patterns of interaction, and attachment. The integration with the Gottman Method's practical tools and interventions allows us to explore together the "dance" of interactions and emotional attunement.
