Our Ideal Client

Heidi and The Alignment Collective clinicians work with individuals and couples seeking thoughtful, trauma-informed care. Through The Alignment Collective, clients seek support for anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity exploration, and stress related to systemic factors. The practice includes clinicians with specialized training and lived experience working with LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC, and other marginalized communities.

What We Specialize In

The Alignment Collective specializes in trauma-informed, relational, and affirming therapy for individuals and couples. Our clinicians are trained in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, and somatic approaches that may include yoga and movement. We support clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship and communication challenges, domestic violence and sexual assault recovery, life transitions, pre- and postpartum mental health, grief, and stress related to systemic factors. We also offer affirming care for gender identity exploration and work collaboratively to help clients find a therapeutic approach and clinician that feel aligned with their needs.

Our Values as Mental Health Practitioners

As a nonprofit community mental health center, The Alignment Collective is guided by the belief that everyone deserves access to thoughtful, high-quality mental health care. Our values are rooted in equity, accessibility, and relationship-centered practice, with a commitment to serving the diverse communities of Portland. We strive to reduce barriers to care, honor lived experience, and offer affirming, trauma-informed support to individuals and families across identities, backgrounds, and life circumstances. We believe healing happens in connection, and we are dedicated to meeting people where they are with compassion, integrity, and care. As part of our commitment to accessibility, we strive to connect new clients with an intake appointment within two business days.
