My Ideal Client

Do you find yourself overthinking small decisions? Avoiding things you know you need to do? Do you feel distant in relationships or unsure who to trust? Maybe you're carrying memories that linger with you, or you're stuck in day-to-day stress, or just totally overwhelmed. My clients are often navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or big life changes and just want to feel more like themselves again.

My Background and Approach

With over five years of overall experience as well as specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), my goal is to offer a space that feels respectful, collaborative, and real so you can bring your full self and be met with care. My approach is relational and grounded in connection, and I draw from tools like CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, somatic practices, and mindfulness, using what fits best for you and your goals.

My Values as a Therapist

I’m guided by a trauma-informed, anti-oppression lens and a lived understanding of LGBTQIA+ experiences. Therapy becomes a space to recognize how systemic harm from issues like white supremacy, patriarchy, colonialism, and late-stage capitalism shapes our mental health. These forces don’t exist outside us, but they live in our bodies, relationships, and inner narratives. Healing means making space for all of it.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • EMDR External link

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a well-established therapy that helps your brain process upsetting memories so they don’t feel as painful. Using guided eye movements or other gentle signals, it helps your brain process past experiences and reduce your triggers.

  • Attachment Theory External link

Attachment theory helps us understand how early relationships shape how we connect, trust, and feel safe with others. In therapy, I use this understanding to support you in building healthier relationships and healing patterns that might be holding you back.

  • Eclectic External link

I use an eclectic approach to therapy, meaning I draw from a variety of proven techniques to tailor treatment to your unique needs. Together, we find the strategies and tools that work best for you, supporting meaningful progress in a way that respects and empowers your preferences.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Anxiety External link

I support clients experiencing anxiety by teaching practical tools to manage worry and stress, helping you feel more grounded and in control.

  • PTSD External link

I provide care specifically tailored to help you process and heal from past experiences. Together, we can work to reduce symptoms and build the skills to move forward with greater confidence and ease.

  • Abuse External link

Healing from abuse requires compassion and trust. I’m here to guide you through that process, validating your experience and empowering your journey forward.

  • Depression External link

When depression feels heavy, I can help you explore what’s behind those feelings and support you in finding steps toward feeling better.

  • Social Phobia External link

If social situations feel overwhelming, I can help you develop strategies to manage fear and build confidence in your interactions, always at your own pace.
