My Ideal Client

Many of us didn't get the love, support, or connection that we deserved from our families or communities growing up. Because we're resilient, we developed creative strategies for getting our needs met (ex. people-pleasing, perfectionism, numbing-out, withdrawing, overanalyzing, rebelling, lying, etc.). And these strategies worked for a while! They helped us get through complicated childhoods. But as we get older, many of us begin to notice a toll on our minds, our bodies, and our relationships.

My Background and Approach

As a queer kid who grew up in a fundamentalist community in Mississippi, my journey has been long and hard. But it's also given me the ability to connect deeply with others, both in their pain and in their longing for healing, pleasure, and joy. Using a blend of parts work, self-compassion, and the collective knowledge I’ve gained from the many healers who have helped me, I will help you learn to see yourself more clearly and to navigate your life more peacefully. It's my honor to help my clients find their way to the life of freedom, joy, and intimacy that we all crave.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe we all have the capacity to not only weather the storms our lives bring us, but also to create deeper meaning and connection in our lives because of our unique storms. I see the work I do with my clients as being intimately connected to social and global justice because I believe that in healing our relationships with ourselves, we begin to heal the world.
