My Ideal Client

If you are interested in depth psychotherapy, which will address the root causes of your challenges, we should talk. I specialize in phenomenological approach: It puts the Soul or Psyche back to the center of therapeutic endeavor. The Psyche is creative, spontaneous and takes us on a journey that may require attention to fragmented parts of yourself, stuck in time and misunderstanding or trauma. To access these parts we may need to honor emotions, somatic symptoms, dreams, symbols and desires.

My Approach to Helping

My commitment is to provide effective therapy. You can expect genuine connection, active listening and engaged style with me. I'm curious and open-hearted. I studied Integral Counseling Psychology at the nation's leading school in this field: California Institute of Integral Science (CIIS) in San Francisco. I've been blessed with exceptional teachers and guides, leaders in the field of psychodynamic, person-centered and existential psychotherapy. Parallel to formal education, I've also been apprenticing with indigenous tradition keepers of ceremonial use of Sacred Plant medicine Ayahuasca: consciousness - expanding and purifying experience. I have specialized in mental health and addiction therapy by co-founding and developing holistic treatment programs for recovery, as well as working in an community mental health agency in Ashland that facilitated recovery alongside with family therapy, couples therapy and trauma-informed care. Welcome to my healing practice.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My core values are professional competence, empathy and genuine presence. I strive to learn and approach each session with an open heart. Becoming a therapist is an outcome of a long search my true calling in life. I feel blessed to have my purpose. As part of my learning, I've studied with leaders in the field of depth psychology; I've apprenticed under guidance of indigenous tradition keepers. I discovered deep passion for treatment of addiction and trauma: have pioneered and developed holistic treatment programs in South America. Currently, my private practice integrates psychotherapy with Ayurveda and traditional healing ceremonies with sacred plants of the Amazonian region. I live simple life on the Oregon coast with my wife and two curious dogs. I do yoga everyday, run in the woods and take my wooden boat on adventures in the Bay. In addition to providing depth therapy, I love to play music, Banya - finish sauna & hugging people I love.
