My Ideal Client

I love supporting adults who long for more balance in life. I assist clients in shifting well-worn relationship patterns by reconnecting with authentic needs, clarifying boundaries, and learning to communicate with care for self and others. Many of my clients identify as highly sensitive, empathic, intuitive, or introverted and are seeking relief from overwhelm or anxiety connected to work and family demands. I also offer space for spiritual exploration and reflection on life’s mysteries.

What I Specialize In

I combine somatic (body-focused), mindfulness-based, and depth (psychodynamic) approaches to explore messages that arise through body symptoms, beliefs, patterns, and/or dreams. I work experientially, which means we include your present moment, felt-sense experience to discover direct insight and avenues for change. I have found that these approaches lead to compassionate self-understanding and positive, lasting change. My somatic therapy training includes 3+ years of study with M.E.T.A. (Mindful Experiential Therapy Approaches), now renamed the Hakomi Institute of the Pacific Northwest, including a yearlong internship at the former M.E.T.A. Clinic. My psychodynamic training includes an M.A. in counseling psychology with emphasis in Jungian depth psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, and a yearlong internship at the River’s Way Clinic through the Process Work Institute.
