My Ideal Client

I specialize in working with adults who are navigating big transitions, perinatal mental health, carrying the weight of trauma, or feeling stuck in the cycles of anxiety, burnout, or disconnection. My clients often identify as LGBTQIA+, Women, parents, BIPOC, neurodivergent individuals, or folks who have felt unseen in other spaces.

My Background and Approach

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience supporting adults through complex life challenges. My background includes work in community mental health where I've supported individuals navigating severe mental illness, trauma, substance use, and housing instability. I bring a warm, grounded presence to the work, and I'm committed to providing inclusive care. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I believe in tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique experience, strength, and needs. My approach is compassionate, strength-based. II specialize in trauma informed therapy and draw from approaches like Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone is unique and cannot be fit into a box. Everyone is worthy, and has capacity for growth, healing, and change. I became a counselor because I hold a core belief that everyone deserves to feel valued, find their voice, and live a life that reflects their truth. I've seen this potential in my work and in my personal life. This belief is what continues to guide me. Before becoming a therapist, I was an artist and still use creativity as a tool to help people connect with themselves in new ways. My Approach is warm, relational, and grounded in both social justice and mental health training. I specialize in trauma treatment and have completed 50 hour EMDR training and am training in perinatal mental health. I love working with folks who identify as LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, women, creatives, parents, and those navigating transitions.
