My Ideal Client

I enjoy working with individual adolescents (16+), adults, and couples who are struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, self worth, ongoing relational patterns, and identity. I believe in the innate ability of the human being to heal itself; my role is to help you remove the blocks that are holding you back. My approach is holistic, integrating body, mind, and spirit. That being said, I stay grounded in the latest neuroscience of attachment by attuning to you.

My Background

In practice since 2019, I hold space in my LGBTQ-allied, kink-friendly, poly/ENM-affirming practice for people who are ready for change and struggle with the human condition. Those who want to go deeper than ever before have found somatic therapy to be highly effective for them. Couples who are ready to rework their dysfunctional patterns and be vulnerable can redefine what secure love means to them. I have experience leading an 8-step recovery group for marginalized individuals at a sober living community. Before working in private practice, I was a therapist for adolescents and adults in the community mental health environment, where I worked with people struggling with trauma, addiction, and mood disorders. In my spare time, you can find me dancing, playing music, and enjoying the outdoors. I’ve been practicing vipassana meditation for over 10 years. In another life, I lived and worked abroad for a number of years—as a Peace Corps volunteer and a journalist.

More About the People I Treat

Maybe you've hit a wall with traditional therapy. Perhaps you want to be more present, bolster your own mindfulness practice, or stop engaging in patterns that cause you pain. I approach you as a human being and help you grow into a fuller version of yourself. You might grow in your level of self awareness, gain more confidence, respond instead of react, have deeper relationships, and continue to explore how to be more authentically yourself. Growth means changing how we do things in the world, how we feel about ourselves, and how we feel about the things that have happened to us. Life moves fast—when we can slow down together, we can be intentional about our choices and gentle with ourselves.
