My Ideal Client

I am honored to serve a diverse range of clients navigating complex relational, mental, and physical health issues. I support individuals through grief, trauma, queer identity exploration, life transitions, family dynamics, relational issues, ethical non-monogamy, anxiety, depression, and chronic health concerns. I'm passionate about assisting those who feel stuck or powerless and believe in everyone's potential for stability and well-being.

My Approach to Helping

I use an integrative person-centered, systems-informed approach to therapy by blending somatic, humanistic, internal family systems, narrative, and acceptance-commitment therapy, all with the goal of providing an individually tailored approach for each client and situation. Trained in multiple psychedelic-assisted therapy models, I incorporate these methods to address complex issues such as existential anxiety, chronic health concerns, challenging psychedelic experiences, shame, grief, complex trauma, hopelessness, and spiritual distress. With a firm grasp on neuroscience, mindfulness, and transpersonal experiences, I help clients navigate both day-to-day concerns and larger macro (lifespan) themes. When it resonates with a client's values or interests, I also incorporate ritual practices and take-home work. My clients report finding me warm, intuitive, reflective, interactive, and skilled at providing a holistic and empathetic therapeutic experience.

My Values as a Therapist

I believe in the capacity for growth and change in all people. Just like the body heals a wound with the right support, our minds and spirits can heal with a warm, accepting presence. Being truly seen and witnessed is essential for healing, and I am honored to provide such a space for my clients. As a queer and non-monogamous person, I support those exploring their queer identity and ethical non-monogamy, recognizing the stigma and challenges faced by those outside normative culture. In my practice, all parts of my clients are welcome, especially the most challenging, dark, and stormy parts. These often ignored or disregarded parts (the "shadow") need examination, understanding, and integration; this is core to my practice. I am dedicated to creating a space where all aspects of my clients can be explored and understood, fostering healing and growth.

My specialty treatment orientations include somatic therapy, where I incorporate Sensorimotor Psychotherapy into my practice. Trained in supporting people through both acute and developmental trauma, I address the connection between the body and mind to help clients process and heal from trauma, stress, and other emotional challenges. By integrating these techniques, I provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to therapy that supports the full spectrum of healing and personal growth.
