My ideal clients are people who are ready to do the work of processing and those who see therapy as a marathon, not a sprint. I am seeking clients that are open to self-reflection, dedicated to integrating our sessions into their everyday life, and who are open to a direct approach. I am interested in working with people who are spiritual, dealing with PTSD, mother wounds, childhood adversity, and/or are adjusting to new parenthood. I see individuals and couples.
Specialties
I have completed the Externship in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy through ICEEFT and am also Level 2 trained and certified in the Gottman Method. I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method (GM) to create a balanced therapeutic space that encourages guided emotional vulnerability and new ways of connecting, while also focusing on concrete goals and milestones to work toward both in and outside of sessions.
I utilize Parts and Memory Therapy (PMT), a modality similar to Internal Family Systems (IFS), to help clients release emotional burdens from the past and develop healthier internal dynamics. Through PMT, clients are guided to connect with and heal the 'parts' of themselves that hold onto difficult emotions or memories, leading to a greater sense of inner peace and wholeness. I am currently working toward becoming a certified PMT therapist.
Specialties
I specialize in treating trauma using a person-centered approach, EMDR, Parts and Memory Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Coherence Therapy. I create a safe, empathetic space for clients to explore and process their experiences at their own pace. Through these methods, I help clients reframe trauma narratives, release emotional burdens, and develop coping strategies that foster resilience and restore a sense of control and safety.
Using the Gottman Method to pinpoint where couples are missing each other, I guide them through Emotionally Focused Therapy to create moments where each partner feels seen, heard, and truly understood. In session we will address attachment wounds and facilitate a safe space to rekindle connection.
