My Ideal Client

I offer weekly 50-minute therapy sessions. I am particularly passionate about providing affirming care for late-discovered, high-masking/camouflaging, internalizing, neurodivergent and 2e individuals.

My Approach to Helping

Intentional change includes acceptance, respect, and gratitude for adaptive psychological and behavioral patterns. Resistance to resistance only multiplies tension. I will accompany you in cultivating clarity and choice about the ways you meet needs for survival, safety, belonging, and love, through presence and compassion.

My Approach to Helping

My holistic power-with approach to therapy is founded upon my background and training in Hakomi mindful somatic therapy, Mindful Compassionate Dialogue, and Vipassana meditation. Access and re-inform the implicit material that shapes present experiences and relationships, and find liberation from chronic patterns. Develop a vocabulary for integrating experiences and self-responsible expression. Gain competence with concrete relational skills like life-serving boundaries, self-empathy, and working with reactivity. Understand interpersonal systems and patterns, and develop the fundamental framework and skills necessary for effective, satisfying communication.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Autism External link

Misconceptions and stereotypes about autism have resulted in many high-masking, camouflaging, internalizing autistics being misdiagnosed or undiagnosed—particularly those of us who were AFAB. Studies now acknowledge a “lost generation” of autistic adults, as well as the harm caused by certain approaches to treatment. As a late-discovered autistic, I am passionate about offering gentle, empathetic support attuned to your individual experiences, strengths, adaptations, and resilience.

  • ADHD External link

Awareness is expanding about the vastness of the spectrum of neurodiverse presentations and experiences. As a result, a new era of self-discovery is blossoming for many previously-overlooked women, femme, and AFAB neurodivergents. Further, historically treated as mutually exclusive, new research shows that most people with autism also have ADHD. As someone with this lived experience, I will support you on your journey toward understanding, authenticity, and integration.

  • OCD External link

Instead of tolerating uncertainty, I-CBT treatment for OCD focuses on recognizing when the mind is constructing a narrative rather than perceiving reality. For those of us who have spent years questioning our own experience, this approach can be clarifying and freeing. OCD targets identity—what you might be capable of, who you might really be. I will support your process without judgment, and with the understanding that the content of obsessions reflects OCD itself, rather than you as a person.

  • Spirituality External link

Spiritual development is a profound and non-linear process. I offer a grounded, relational, accepting therapeutic space to support you in approaching your unfolding experience with wisdom and steadiness. I can help you find and hold truth within the context of spiritual community, or with navigating disaffiliation.

  • LGBTQ Issues External link

A sense of connection and safety can be more accessible when you know there is shared lived experience. The interpersonal support I offer under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella is rooted in a dedication to bringing my own late-blooming spirit of openness, creativity, and discovery to the ever-changing intersectional and dynamic process of being in a human body.
