I provide a safe, encouraging and non-judgmental therapeutic environment. My style is warm, collaborative and direct. Compassion and humor are vital ingredients for growth and wellness. My approach is integrative; drawing from strengths based, trauma-informed, relational, social justice and anti-oppression perspectives. I place great value on being able to deeply witness, understand and hold space for you in your moments of pain and uncertainty. Some life challenges have the capacity to derail, uproot, and halt us from harnessing our power to live the lives we desire. As a counselor, I place strong emphasis on developing insight & empathy to address and resolve problems, change patterns, improve relationships, heal trauma & navigate hardships. I hope to offer a transformative therapeutic experience that will enable you to realize your goals. Together we will cultivate the skills, insight and draw on your inner strength to benefit you years beyond our time together.

In 2007 I received my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Lewis and Clark College. I have 22 years of social service and counseling experience serving adolescents, adults and families. My background is in trauma recovery, grief and loss and medical and health psychology. I have served older adults and families through adjustment, chronic illness, end of life issues and caregiving. My community counseling work encompassed a wide range of issues with an emphasis on navigating transitions, relationships and mood disorders. I value existential work, helping clients navigate transitions and deepen in their own process of identity development and self-actualization. I place great value on cultural competency, advocating for social justice and the eradiction of all forms inequality and oppression. I endeavor to deepen in my own personal & professional evolution striving to be congruent with the principles I impart.
