My Ideal Client

I offer individual therapy sessions to adolescents and adults. My therapy sessions are conducted in a comfortable, safe, and confidential manner. It is important to feel connected and my goal is to make sure that clients have a safe place to come for support. I specialize in working with several populations including adolescents, those identifying as LGBTQIA2S+ as well as Indigenous Peoples.

How I Can Help You

I provide culturally competent therapy and utilize an integrative, holistic, collaborative approach. By blending elements from different approaches, treatment is tailored according to each individual client’s needs. I am rooted in humanistic therapy, which is a client-centered approach that emphasizes unconditional acceptance. Sometimes it’s painful to face things about ourselves or our situations that we would rather ignore. It's worth it to face them because it gives us the opportunity to look at things from a different perspective, to ask different questions, to challenge ourselves, and ultimately to get more of what we want out of life.

My Approach to Helping

I listen with respect and curiosity. Psychotherapy can help you in becoming conscious of all parts of the self by improving self-awareness and self-expression, as well as sharing dreams, daydreams, metaphors, narrative stories, bodily sensations, intuitions etc. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I am an active member in the LGBTQ+ community. I am originally from New Jersey and moved to Oregon in 2015 to explore life on the West coast and to broaden my experiences. I believe that interpersonal relationships are important both in and outside of my work. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, especially while travelling, camping, or on weekend trips to the woods or the coast. I also love to cook and try out new restaurants. Professional Interests: LGBTQIA2S+, social justice, human relationships, multicultural therapy, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care
