My Ideal Client

My ideal client wants to grow, learn, and expand their vision, heart, and community. They are willing to engage in a sincere, humble, and wholehearted investigation of self, others, and their world. They are willing to sit with, confront, and challenge structures and beliefs that are causing harm to both themselves and others. They are looking to create a life that is meaningful and life-giving to both themselves and their communities. They are willing to do the work, in and out of session.

What I Specialize In

I customize therapy to suit each client's unique presentation, needs, and goals. That being said, the primary therapeutic tool is the relationship we will create together. While I am interested in working with diverse clientele, I am particularly interested in working with gender identity and sexuality exploration, career/community role expansion, emotional literacy, boundaries, self-esteem, identity development, and folx experiencing intersectional marginalization. I have a background in social justice, anti-racism, herbalism, yoga, expressive arts, children and families, and the service industry. I have taught yoga for 10 years, so yogic concepts and body healing certainly have a place in the services I offer. I am invested in my client's overall well-being - the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, relational, and metaphysical aspects of being-ness intertwined.

Social Justice Issues We Care About

I care about how systems of oppression have harmed and continue to harm certain groups especially, including but not limited to People of Color & BIPOC, women/womxn, LGBTQQIP2SAA+, low-income individuals, prisoners, the disabled, and senior citizens. No one is free until we all are free. I am an active member of the queer community and the Black Lives Matter community. I volunteer for The Council for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (CEDI), an activist group I cofounded to help fight racism in higher education. To learn more about our work, check out our website: www.thecedicircle.com. In the past, I volunteered through community herbalism with Herbs for Activists.
