My Approach to Helping

We feel that life always has potential and we want to help you discover the best version of yourself that you can possibly be today. We believe in a strengths-based approach while recognizing that you don’t live in a bubble — you live within a variety of systems including your family, your friends, relationships, career, past and everything else that makes you uniquely YOU. We know how important it is to understand YOU within YOUR context in order to customize your counseling experience through better understanding of your perspective.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Refresh Therapy was founded by Bryanna Goodman in 2010. A few years before that, she was working in community mental health services, dreaming about possibilities. Upon realizing her hopes and vision, she decided to take a chance and open her own business. It was thrilling and terrifying at the same time, but she knew there was a need for therapists in the community, so she opened the doors in August of 2010 in East Vancouver, WA. Since then, Bryanna has had three littles; Bryanna’s husband left his job in the financial services industry to come on board as her partner in 2015, making Refresh Therapy truly a family owned business!
